Well long story short but now almost 1 1/2 months later we are finally starting to feel more settled in and at home. We moved to a larger house with more rooms and more to decorate!! And as far as decorating goes, I really haven't done much!! There just hasn't been time, between getting back into good health, the kiddos starting pre school and doctors appointments for upcoming surgery (I'll post separate about this, but Ava is heading back into the OR for her hand this month .
I decided I'm going to take it nice and slow as far as decorating, and do it one room at a time. The room I'm starting with is Gianna's Nursery! Since the girls no longer need to share a room, I decided to take one of our 4 bedrooms and give it to the baby. Since we have a boy and girl, I get to enjoy also decorating a girly and boy room so I wanted to do this room as a true nursery!! I actually had bedding that we bought a while ago and never used. It is the "Stork Bedding" by Pottery Barn Kids. It is no where near ready being set up, but I'm posting pictures and going to sort of show this as a work in process.
So here goes:
The bedding and curtains.
Her crib, I need to figure out what to put over the crib, I'm thinking some sort of decal, but not sure what.
The glider which all 3 of my babies have been rocked in.
View from the door
I didn't get a great shot, but you can kind of see her 3 big huge windows and 1/2 moon
her dresser which I need to find more decorative items for
Awesome double closets which I'm hoping to add some sort of organizer too. I know Gianna will LOVE these in the teenage years! lol
I'm thinking some sort of bow/hair clip holder for that area between the 2 closets.
So there you have it, the beginning's of Gianna's Nursery!
I will be posting pictures of the rest of the house as the weeks go on too.I'm in desperate need of lots of decorating advice!!
Have a great weekend everyone!
