Mom FAIL!

Since I'm finally starting to feel more like my old self again, I told Frank I really wanted to get out of the house and do something fun this weekend. We looked into things to do and decided to do something with just Frankie and Ava since life has been somewhat hectic for them lately. My parents offered to watch Gigi so Frank surprised the kiddos and bought tickets to a traveling circus that was going to be in New Jersey this weekend. I was pretty excited to take them to a circus under the big top and it was a lot of fun! I wasn't expecting much because it was a smaller circus but the acts where really good and the kids had a great time. But I totally failed as a mom, I got the stink eye and side eye from a few other parents at the circus, why you ask?? well this is why!

 Yep I totally let my itty bittys get on an ELEPHANT!! I don't know, I guess I thought they were going to be strapped on or that Frank was going on with them, but NOPE! and by the time I realized this, they were off on their walk!! I nearly shit my pants for sure when I was watching this, but oh well, no harm no foul. Everyone got off safe and the little dare devils loved it!! ( although they will NOT be doing this ever again!)

They were really good the whole circus and loved watching the acrobats, just at the end Frankie started to get really red and complain of being hot (which it was) so we left.

They fell asleep on the hour and half car ride home which was awesome and then we enjoyed a nice Saturday night at home!

Today we completely emptied our attic out and packed up our pantry. Rumor has it we are moving this week (I'll believe it when I see it!) That would be such an awesome birthday gift for this Momma! I cant wait to share photos of our new home with you all, if you follow me on instagram you've already seen a few sneak peeks! (Jillybeans822)  After all the packing we headed to the new house to meet a man to measure for a shower doors and then headed to Lowes to get a light for the Playroom. Frankie picked it out and its a moon and stars that glow in the dark, actually pretty cute!

 Then it was off to the diner to eat and home to relax. Frank watched the kiddos and I headed off to the nail salon to get a much needed pedi and start off my birthday week right!!

 all in all a great weekend!! and Hopefully this week brings exciting things for this birthday girl and her family!  I hope you all had a great weekend and week to come!!
