Pregnancy Update!

I'm clearly the worst at updating lately, but so much is going on here: 9 months pregnant, packing/ moving, over 100 degree weather, I'm sure you understand!

Last Saturday Frank and  I celebrated our 5 year wedding Anniversary, we sure have done a whole lot in 5 years! Bought a house, got a dog, made 3 babies, sold a house, buying a new one, left jobs, started new ones, bought into the Disney Vacation Club!! I cant wait for all the exciting things year 6 brings for us.

Ok onto pregnancy update! Today I had a visit with my perinatal doctor at 35 weeks and 2 days. Baby girl is looking great but BIG, she is measuring at 6lbs 10oz!! Considering that I have a Bicornuate uterus there really isn't much room left in there for her. The Dr acknowledged that both baby and I are very uncomfortable at this point. So here is the game plan. As of today I get to stop taking the daily dose of baby aspirin, and starting next Friday after my next appointment I will be off of lovenox and start heparin. The Dr feels that once I'm on the heparin, I will go into labor fairly quickly. He also said I could talk to my OB about moving my section date up, because as of Monday July 30th I will be 37 weeks and full term and ready to go!! He also told me if for some reason I were to go into labor before this, like tonight for example, that he feels baby girl would be completely fine, it's just that since I'm still on Lovenox I would have to get general anesthesia and not be awake for the birth (This CAN NOT happen) unless I did natural child birth which also isn't something they want because I've had 2 previous sections. So that's where we stand for now, I have my next appointment with my OB on Monday and I'm curious to see what they say. This is all of a sudden getting VERY real. I told Frank tonight he better get that car seat out of the box and installed in the car, tomorrow I'm going to finish the hospital bag packing and then just try to enjoy the little bot of time I have left before baby with my 2 littles and finish packing up the house. Baby girl might not actually have an actual "home" to come home too once shes born (probably going to move in with my parents for a bit) but as someone pointed out to me today, "HOME is where the heart is!" and there is sure going to be a ton of love waiting for the 5th member of our little family. I'm super excited =)

  3. Thanks for the update! Always thinking of you! Your poor, poor feet. My SIL is 38 weeks now and her feet look the same. You're such a trooper, especially with 2 older kids, moving/packing, AND the heat wave!
