So last week I shared with you our everything room! This week I am showing you our kitchen. When we first bought our house I told my husband that the kitchen had to go!!! I managed to survive a whole year with broken cabinets and gross appliances before we redid it. I wish I had photos to show you, but I'm too pregnant and lazy to scan them in, lol! Just use your imaginations, it was bad!!
We have whats called a galley kitchen and it's not big by any means, very tiny, but we make due! Hopefully soon we I will baking and cooking away in my dream kitchen, but until then, grab a cup of coffee and come sit with us at our kitchen table!
This is our "eat in" area in the front of our home. The pub height table is from pier one. It has built in drawers that I had previously mentioned here ! Since our home is small this is also where we have our "play kitchen" and easel.
A peak into our galley!
An extra shelf thing I had put in instead of just wasted space.
I also had those shelves were I store my cookbooks added in to make up for wasted space. You can see my beloved canisters from Home Goods pictured here as well.
I had this pantry built on and it was the best thing I could of done. The extra space I get from this is amazing!
My pretty glass doored cabinet above my sink. If I only I didn't have to see those sippy cups!! lol
This shot gives a good visual of our granite, which I love!! Seriously the BEST counter top ever.
And also, my beloved M&M's in the corner there!
Or cabinets are maple and I love the color. I really do love my kitchen, I just wish it was bigger! My dream kitchen features a big ol' island where the kiddos will do their homework and bake holiday cookies with me. But until then, this is where its at!
I'm linking up with Kelly's Korner for this post!
I was actually thinking how bright and colourful the sippy cups are behind the glass :)
