And so it starts

On Monday I will be 33 weeks, I made it to last night with no visits to the hospital, thats a record for me!!! The reason I headed over to L&D, well heres a picture why
This was last night. The monitored me and baby looked good, my blood pressure was ok 127/81, so I was sent home and told to stay off my feet and drink a lot of water. Today I did just that, and well they didn't go down instead they got worse.
The left was this morning and the right is tonight. Needless to say I'm miserable =( None of my shoes fit and they hurt bad. I was pre eclampsia with Frankie but not with Ava. With Frankie this didn't start till 35 weeks, like I said Im still only in my 32th week, so I'm getting a little nervous. I'm off to bed, hopefully they look better in the morning.

Also my spell check isnt working for some reason, and I'm too tired and cranky to recheck this post, so I'm sorry for my bad grammar!

  1. Hey mama, I had preeclampsia twice in both my pregnancies. My first daughter, at 28 weeks, I was very very ill and I swelled up big time in my face, hands and feet. I had my 2nd daughter, again with preeclampsia but not as severe and delivered one day shy of 35 weeks. Definitely keep an eye on the swelling and check your blood pressure daily as you can. If you are feeling "off" ever please take yourself in, or ever have that "headache" that wont go away. Ill be thinking of you mama. Try and stay off your feet as you can and lounge around as much as possible!

  2. oh my goodness! I didn't have swelling with #2 but I did with #1. My BP was always OK. A little high for me but OK. Some swelling..even a good bit of swelling is "normal" Do you have BP machine at home? I remember my feet were like that with P and it was summer time, I couldn't even wear flip flops, and I was working so I had no clue how to meet the shoe requirement!

Keep an eye on it and I will be watching with updates. Keep that little one baking!

  4. Oh you poor thing! I had horrible swelling like that with both pregnancies, but never pre e. Hope you're able to stay off of your feet and get some rest and that the swelling reduces some by morning. I feel for you! xoxo

  9. Stay inside in the air conditioning will help too. This heat is horrible for swelling. Hope it goes down quick and you get some relief.
