I HEART NYC

This past saturday we took the kids into the city to go to the Central Park Zoo. Although it's not like the zoo in Managascar its still pretty cute (although small) and the babies loved it. Their favorite was the Children's Petting Zoo.

After the zoo we walked along 5th ave, snacked on a hot pretzel and passed by this lovely store

and of course this made the babies very happy, Daddies wallet, not so much!!

School's out for SUMMER!!!

So last Friday was Frankie's last day of toddling around and in September he will be entering PreK 3!! :tear tear: How is that the even possible? Didn't I just pee on a stick and see those magical 2 pink lines and then do it again at work with one of my friends to read the best word ever "pregnant"? It feels like just yesterday I was running to the hospital everyday because of my high risk pregnancy and then having the doctor tell me I had to deliver via c-section a whole month early because my blood pressure was dangerously high, and wasn't it just last night that everyone left me before I headed in the OR saying they couldn't wait to meet my baby girl and yelling at me because  I said no you mean baby boy!! ( Momma always knows best, I'm one of those people that had a pink nursery and then gave birth to a BOY!!!) People always tell you to enjoy every moment because it goes so fast but you don't really "get it" until its happening to you. I love my Frankie and I could not imagine what my world would be like without him (and Ava) giving me a reason to smile and be thankful everyday.

Missing my blog =(

I have so many great pictures I want to share.  Frankies last day of toddling around, a visit to the the Central Park Zoo and FAO Schwarz, Fathers Day, but I cant =( My oldddddd gateway laptop is not cooperating,  making for a not very happy Momma, I need that new Apple like yesterday (hint hint hubby!!) Hopefully sometime in the near future I get this problem solved.
Ava's wrist is looking really good, so tomorrow if weather permits we are going to try and go to the pool for a quick dip,the babies will go nuts for this, it's been way to long.  In the morning I am going to see my kindergarten class ( i went on childcare leave mid year) graduate. I cant not believe how fast this year has gone. 
Looking forward to being back soon with tons of cute pictures =)

Mac or PC???

After months of going back and forth I have finally decided on a Mac! Phew.... Now that that's done the next big step was to decide on which one. iMac or MacBook pro??? I asked the lovely ladies over on the bump and the majority said to go for the MacBook pro. They almost had me convinced but today I had to go to Apple for an emergency ( my iPhone froze!!!! Panic mode set in) after they saved my precious phone, reminder to self to back it up!, I spotted the iMac just sitting there staring at me. It was begging me to come see it and I couldn't let it down, so I did. LOVE at first sight.....my mind was made. The screen is just so huge and inviting and I envisioned Frankies and Ava's sweet little faces on it while I was uploading pictures of them and the little lightweight MacBook pro next to it just wasn't cutting it!! Yes a laptop is nice because you can carry around with you, but duh I have an iPad!! In fact I'm blogging from my iPad right now, so why do I need a MacBook?? Yea I don't! Simple as that. So my mind is made up. Next order of business is to find a desk for it. Our current cabinet just will not work. I need something cheap, smallish and just all around fabulous. Any suggestions? Any pictures of your set up to share, please do! I need inspiration.
Now I must convince hubby why I need this iMac NOW, because waiting to august for the big 3ohhhh is just not happening!! Must go bat eyes at hubby after I click " publish post", hehe.

Ok enough on that, tomorrow is Frankies last day of his toddling around program, seriously where did this year ago, tear! My baby is entering the 3year program in September and im so not ok with this!! I will be bringing the camera to the ice creme party tomorrow so rest assure pictures will be coming!
Miss Ava is doing good, her wrist still looks raw but is healing as every day passes, hopefully soon we can hit the pool, I know they are both missing it badly, as am I.

Sigh of relief...

So today Ava had her stitches out, I was dreading this all week!The doc felt best to do it in the OR, so this meant she had to be put under again, uggg!! She did great (but of course) her wound spilt open a bit so we need to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected. They only thing that really sucks is no pool for a while, BOO!!

So after a nice long nap and lunch after we got home, we decided to go to the park, the babies had withdrawal for not going past 11 days....I took the camera but because I was so nervous of her falling down and opening the booboo I only got a few shots, and of course in true fashion, they didn't look!

Here's the thing, "Nemo" is really Nemo number 3! My hubbs won Nemo number 1 at a carnival, and he didn't make it threw the night, then his replacement bit the dust after Frankie fed him a munchkin!! Lets hope these two last longer!!

Seriously does this kid just not get it? Hello!! You just had surgery you can not climb onto the kitchen table or into the window. She is causing way more gray hairs then I care to admit!!
I took my eyes off her for one second this morning and this is what I see.

It was super hot here today so I took them into the yard for some watertable fun! They can play with this thing for hours.

Today the surgical nurse finally called me to tell me they booked an OR for Ava next Monday morning, it can not come fast enough, heres a look at her wrist today.

In other news, my big 30th birthday is fastly approaching, uggg, not feeling it! The whole fam is heading with us to celebrate at the happiest place on earth! Thats right you guessed it, Walt Disney World!! We are Disney Vacation Club members and our home resort is The Bay Lake Towers, simply beautiful. I really want to get us all T-shirts made up to wear one day (Yes Hubby that means YOU!!) Can anyone reccomend a seller on ebay? Comment and let me know!

Tomorrow is going to be in the 90s here, I hope I don't melt. I may have to stroll around the air conditioned mall and break in my new baby jogger city select (review coming soon!)

My own domain and an Ava update!

Look up! you see that's, it's all mine =) I decided to go ahead and do it now while my blog is still new so I don't have to transfer over later. Right now I only have 1 follower (thank you Tiffany @ http://fancymeetingyouhere-tiffany.blogspot.com/) but I'm determined to get more, but I realize these things take time.  I also haven't put this blog out to family and friends yet.  Another big thing I'm doing is getting a new template, I super excited to see what Kendra at http://www.keylimedigitaldesigns.com/ comes up with, so look forward to seeing a completely new look real soon=)

Update on Miss Ava, 4 days after surgery



Ouch! Muh poor baby =(

The surgical tape is still hanging on for dear life. There is no way I'm pulling it off, just NOT happening. I feel so bad for her, the stitches look like they are tightening and it still looks so swollen. So proud of baby girl, shes hanging in so well.

Today we headed into the city to attend an event run by the doctor who performed Miss Ava's surgery, Dr. Milton Waner. Check out his website he is truly an amazing doctor and we will forever be thankful that we found him.

What a week...

Wowza! I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to start my blog this week! You see, our lil girl,had surgery this week! Baby girl (18 months) had an hemangioma (vascular birthmark) on her right wrist that we had removed.  We tried other treatment before going the surgery route, but after seeing several doctors and specialists we decided this was the right thing for us to do. Baby boy ( 2 1/2) has one too on his left elbow, but more on that at another time!  She had her surgery Thursday and was originally scheduled for 9a.m. but then Wednesday I got the call, the horrid call, that surgery was pushed back to 1p.m. I cried and cried on the phone to the surgical coordinator but there was nothing to be done.  This meant that as of 5:30a.m. no more food or milk bottles for baby girl and after 9:00a.m. no more water or juice. I did not sleep the whole night before freaking out on how I was going to explain to my 18 month old why Momma was starving her!! But I should of known better, my girl is a trooper, she did great, not a peep until almost the very end, but I think that was because she was just scared getting poked out by strange people. Long story short, surgery went great and we go back in 10 days to get stitches out and some laser. Here's some pics!

Friday morning we went into the city (NYC) to see the doc for a follow up and he said it looked great! I was given the go ahead to put her in a bath as of today, but I must admit, this momma was way to scared to tackle that task, she's a beastly one in the tub! So a sponge bath it was, until tomorrow!

 Since baby girl cant go to the pool the hubs and I  decided to head down to the Jersey Shore today and hit up the kiddie rides on the boardwalk. Nana and Papa tagged along to which the babies loved. We played arcade games,(Momma won all the prices! I'm a pro at "the claw" and babies got two new Yo Gabba Gabba stuffed animals) walked the boardwalk, went on rides, eat a nice lunch overlooking the ocean and last but not least enjoyed some ice cream! It was just what we needed after a stressful week. Here's just a few pics from today...
